Reception Options

Celebrate your special occasion in the heart of history at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. With sweeping views, rich heritage, and beautiful natural settings, our outdoor sites create a memorable backdrop for receptions, weddings, family reunions, and community events.

Currently, all of our event spaces are outdoors, but we are excited to be developing indoor options in the future. In the meantime, our picnic sites are versatile and available for both casual picnics and private rentals.

Please note: Picnic sites are not available on major holidays, or during the second weekend of October and second weekend of December due to park special events.

Picnic Site Packages

  • Marshall Monument – $100.00 (Seats up to 120 people)

  • North Beach – $100.00 (Seats up to 120 people)

  • Beer Garden – $75.00 (Seats up to 75 people)

Additional Details

  • A $100 refundable damage deposit is required.

  • Vehicle Day Use Fees apply when reserving a site. Parking passes may be purchased in advance.

Special Events

In addition to private rentals, Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park and the Gold Discovery Park Association host a variety of special events throughout the year.
