Easter Egg Hunt
Join us the Saturday before Easter for a day of family fun here at Marshall Gold! Every year we hide thousands of eggs for local kids to find here in the park. Eggs are filled with candy and toys, and if your little one is lucky, they might even find a SPECIAL EGG with a ticket inside. The tickets allow kid's to pick out prizes and Easter Baskets!

Dark History Paranormal Tour
Step into the shadows of history with our Dark History Paranormal Tours—an exclusive, after-hours experience like no other. Guided by a team of professional paranormal investigators, you’ll explore four of Marshall Gold’s most storied—and reportedly haunted—historic buildings. This is your chance to investigate real locations using authentic ghost-hunting equipment, while uncovering the chilling stories and hidden history you won’t hear on daytime tours.
Mother’s Day Brunch
Join us for a delightful Mother's Day Brunch by the river at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park! Celebrate the amazing women in your life with delicious brunch fare, surrounded by nature and historic charm. Enjoy a full menu featuring lox flatbread, croissant sandwiches, yogurt and fresh fruit bar, seasonal avocado toast, and more (subject to change). Want to make it extra special? Drink tickets for mimosas, beer, and wine will be available for purchase during the event. This event is also a fundraiser, supporting educational programs and park projects. Junior Ranger Camp - Session 1
Session One is designed especially for younger Junior Rangers who are curious, energetic, and eager to explore the outdoors. Learning is hands-on, playful, and focused on discovery through doing.
Activities are paced with plenty of movement, creativity, and time for questions, helping younger Junior Rangers build confidence while learning how to care for the natural world.

Christmas in Coloma is a festive community fundraising event hosted by the Gold Discovery Park Association that brings holiday magic to the heart of historic Coloma. The celebration features Holiday House tours, seasonal music, wagon rides, local vendors, family activities, and visits with Santa, all set against the charm of Gold Rush–era surroundings. This joyful evening raises funds to support park improvements, community programs, and the preservation of Coloma’s rich history.
